The OK Shed Op Shop is the best little op shop on the coast serving our beautiful community and visitors.  Located at All Saints Anglican Church, 11 Wallaga Street, Bermagui, we’re open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10am to 4pm and extra days during the Christmas school holidays.

The primary aim of the shop is supporting people experiencing hardship making essential items accessible to everyone by selling pre-loved items generously donated by the local community. It also supports our parish and raises funds to support our welfare programs.

The OK Shed is more than just a place to shop – it’s a vital community hub bringing people together in a safe and welcoming environment.

HISTORY OF THE OK SHED

The building was made possible by a generous bequest from parishioners Bruce and Ruth Gilmour.  Originally it was a shared space for Sunday School classes, handicraft activities and selling second-hand goods.

The first team meeting was held on 27th November 2005 where the name “The Gilmour Opportunity Knocks Shed” was agreed upon but the actual official opening was at noon on Thursday 20th April 2006 and the takings of $81.90 was banked at Horizon Bank Bermagui.

Over the years the name has been shortened to “OK Shed”. Most of the volunteers who ran the shop in the beginning were parishioners but overtime non-church going volunteers joined the ranks happy to help for a worthy cause.

As of October 2025, there are 36 wonderful volunteers who help run the shop across 3 trading days and the OK Shed’s popularity with locals and visitors alike keeps growing.
